The girls are five and seven with some curiosity going. Their room is on the second floor of our house and I began to worry they may try to open after catching them trying to open a locked window. Once because they wanted to see the rainbow better outside. After realizing they can now unlock the windows, I installed this to keep them from pushing it up more then a few inches. Does lock the windows from going too high and alleviates my anxiety of any possible danger. I keep the key high on a shelf and they can not figure out how to remove.Overall, great lock for the windows and makes me happy.
